First Fridays

The Geneva BID hosts First Fridays in downtown Geneva all summer long. Soak up the summer vibes as you explore everything downtown has to offer! Downtown Geneva comes alive on the first Friday of every month all summer long — from 5 to 9 PM. Explore art exhibitions, live music, drink specials, shopping discounts, and unique experiences throughout downtown. Downtown Geneva offers free public parking in several lots throughout the district. Find your way around with our interactive map. There's something for everyone, so come out and make a night of it!

Finger Lakes Photography Guild

Opening: Friday, September 4th from 5 to 7 pm

The Finger Lakes Photography Guild (FLPG) is a group of approximately 30 photographers with advanced skill levels. We love photography including all genres such as landscape, wildlife, plants, portrait, street and abstract. Our goals include creating a venue where we can share our work with the public and advance the skills of local people across the Finger Lakes. FLPG offers educational opportunities on an annual basis with professional presentations on a range of photographic topics. FLPG is a member of the Photographic Society of America.

The opening reception on September 4 will feature music by Wayne Gottlieb. Wayne is a seasoned guitarist with roots in the Fingerlakes region. Wayne has a vast repertoire of music and music knowledge ranging from Jazz to traditional country music. Wayne is also a member of The Pelotones and The Village Swing Trio.

Support for the opening reception is provided by Billsboro Winery and Lake Drum Brewing.

Melanie creates gorgeous charcuterie boards and a delightful selection of freshly made macarons. Stop in and get a personal charcuterie box to-go. The perfect snack, or light meal - made for travel.
